Candle Care

To ensure you enjoy your REBLANC candle safely and to its last flicker.

BEFORE LIGHTING

Before lighting, trim the wooden wick to a length of approximately 5mm.

If the wooden wick is too long, the flame may become too large or produce soot. If a long burnt portion remains, remove it before lighting.

Always use the candle on a flat, stable, heat-resistant surface.

WHILE BURNING

For the first use, burn the candle for at least 30 minutes to ensure the wax surface melts evenly.

Each use should be approximately 1 hour.

The container may become hot during burning. Do not leave the candle unattended, keep it away from flammable objects and drafts, and out of reach of small children and pets.

If the wooden wick shifts off-center and the flame gets close to the container, extinguish it immediately.

AFTER BURNING

After extinguishing, always ensure the flame is completely out.

The container will be hot during burning and immediately after extinguishing. Do not touch or move it until it has completely cooled down.

Also, rapidly cooling a hot container may lead to breakage. When reusing, wait until the container has cooled to room temperature before lighting again.

If using a lid to extinguish the candle, always ensure the flame is completely out after closing the lid.

STORAGE

When not in use, ensure the container has cooled sufficiently before closing the lid and storing.

Using a lid prevents dust from entering the wax and helps to preserve the scent for longer.

Store in a cool place, away from direct sunlight and high temperatures or humidity.

WHEN THE CANDLE IS FINISHED

For safety, do not burn the wax down to the very end; discontinue use when approximately 1cm of wax remains from the bottom of the container.

Do not reuse the candle container as tableware for food or drink.

Once finished, you can enjoy the container as a candle again by using a REBLANC refill.

REFILL

REBLANC offers refills so you can continue to use one container for a long time.

1. Finishing the Candle

When the wax is approximately 1cm from the bottom, discontinue burning for safety.

After extinguishing the flame, wait until the container has completely cooled.

2. Removing Remaining Wax

Do not heat the container directly over a flame or in a microwave. Instead, gently melt the wax by placing the container in a bowl of warm water, heating from the outside.

Once the remaining wax softens, carefully wipe it away with a paper towel or similar.

The container and water may be hot after the water bath. Please be very careful to avoid burns.

Also, melted wax can clog drains, so do not pour wax down the drain.

3. Setting a New Refill

After removing the remaining wax, allow the container to cool sufficiently and ensure it is completely dry with no remaining moisture.

Once the container has cooled to room temperature and is completely dry, set a new REBLANC refill.

You can then enjoy the same container with a new scent.

One container, into the next moment.

Continuing to use the same container is one of the cycles that REBLANC values.
